Our butterfly weed bloomed 2 weeks ago… No monarchs around to partake. Should I cut it back so it might bloom again? Love your refreshing and grounding blog!
Why not try? I’ve noticed that when butterfly milkweed is cut off in hay fields in July that they often re-bloom in August or September. Maybe cut it back by one third?
